John worked several years with Apple Computers, Inc., and also worked for the City of Savannah as an IT Specialist for Central Services. As Director of Technology at Patrick Henry Academy in South Carolina, John enjoyed teaching Computer Science to private school students at all grade levels, K-12.
Mr. Miller earned his B.S. Degree in Justice Studies and Computer Systems from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. where he also completed his Master's Degree in Public Administration in 1997. Additionally, John holds an Associate Degree in Computer Electronics from the U.S. Air Force School of Applied Aerospace Science located at Biloxi, MS.
John has extensive administration and management experience. He is certified in Project Management and is a certified Microsoft Office Professional. He has expert computer skills across multiple platforms and operating systems. John has professional-level experience with Internet research methods, document management, and electronic presentation development. He is proficient in website design, HTML coding, and database development. John is an experienced Tech Support Coordinator and has led initial PC/Network setup operations, and managed computer center maintenance teams. He is a certified FEMA emergency response professional and proudly holds an FCC General Class Radio License, K4WAV.
